We were commissioned by Housing California and Innovative Housing Opportunities. Both organizations provide programs and funding to prevent homelessness and increase the supply of safe, affordable housing options by building power among the people that are most impacted.
This green wall was commissioned to be an art piece at the front entrance to their flagship location in Orange, CA. This location provides nice affordable housing and programs.
The designers at Seasons developed the living circles in various sizes and layouts to mimic the patterns on the pavement below.
Founder Scott Hutcheon and Mayor worked together on site along with several of their tenants to plant this large living circular art piece as part of their built in program.
